Install plugins without touching a file
The panel handles server software, plugins, mods and worlds right in your browser. No SSH, no manual .jar uploads – and if you prefer SFTP, it is always there.
Versions and server software
Paper, Purpur, Spigot, vanilla, Forge, NeoForge or Fabric: switch software and version from a dropdown, without reinstalling and without losing your world. A backup before a big version jump is still a good idea.
Plugins
Search plugins right in the panel and install them in one click, updates included. Missing dependencies are flagged before installing, not as an error in the console at the next start.
Modpacks and mods
A CurseForge modpack is set up in one step, with the matching server software and the right Java version. Add or remove single mods in the same place.
Worlds
Import, export and switch between several worlds. Prepare a new map in peace and put it live when it is ready, instead of rebuilding the running server on the fly.
Your own subdomain
Instead of an IP and port, your players type an address like yourserver.uniohost.fr. Set up the subdomain yourself in the panel, no ticket needed.

Hytale is all about mods, and that is exactly where setting up a server usually gets tedious. Our Pterodactyl panel gives you a list of mods and modpacks: pick one and the panel installs it and restarts your server. No uploads, no hand-edited configs to get a modded server running.
For everything beyond the list, you keep full control: SFTP, file editor, your own mods, config files and version switches. Take a backup before big changes; you get one to three slots depending on the plan. Stuck somewhere? Our support helps by ticket or on Discord.
Choose your plan
With no mods or a few light ones, Starter with 2 GB or Essential with 4 GB is enough for a small community. A big modpack or a world that keeps growing needs Modded with 8 GB or Pro with 16 GB. Advanced and Business with 24 and 32 GB are made for large, heavily modded servers.
You are not locked in: switch plans in the client area without reinstalling, and your world and settings stay. Start small and upgrade when your player count or your mod list calls for it.
Hytale and Minecraft side by side
Both run on the same hardware, at the same price, with the same panel and the same DDoS filtering. If your community already plays Minecraft, run both servers in the same account and see where your players go. Each server has its own plan, backups and address.
One difference is memory: Hytale usually needs more than Minecraft for comparable content. For a seriously modded Hytale server, plan one step above what you would pick for the same project in Minecraft, so Modded instead of Essential, or Pro instead of Modded.
Hytale server FAQ
How do I install mods on my Hytale server?
From the list in the Pterodactyl panel: pick a mod or modpack, install it and the server restarts with it. Mods that are not on the list can be uploaded over SFTP or the file manager and set up in the file editor. If you get stuck, our support helps by ticket or on Discord.
How fast is the server ready after ordering?
Right after payment. The server is created automatically and you receive your panel credentials immediately. Start the server, set its name, player count and world, then share the address with your community. For a modded start, pick a modpack from the list first.
How much RAM does a Hytale server need?
With no mods or a few light ones, 2 to 4 GB is enough for a small group; a big modpack needs 8 to 16 GB. Hytale usually needs more memory than Minecraft for comparable content, so plan one step higher when in doubt. Upgrading never requires a reinstall.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, any time in the client area, up or down. No reinstall is needed and your world and settings stay. Billing is monthly, there is no setup fee and you can cancel whenever you like.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes. UnioShield filters attacks on L3, L4 and L7 on every plan, always on and at no extra cost. New, busy game servers are often targeted early. Attack traffic is dropped before it reaches your server, with nothing for you to configure.
Are there free Hytale servers?
There are free offers. They usually pay for themselves with ads, very little memory or automatic shutdown when nobody is online, which is not great for a community that should stick around. Our entry plan costs €2.00 a month, with no ads, no auto-shutdown and the full Pterodactyl panel.
