Included in every plan
RDP from minute one
Remote Desktop is enabled at handover. You get your IP, username and password and connect right away from Windows, Mac, Linux, a tablet or your phone.
180-day license included
Windows Server Datacenter ships as Microsoft’s official evaluation, valid for 180 days with the full desktop. No key needed to start; add your own license key for permanent activation.
Three versions, always Datacenter
Server 2019 for software that insists on it, 2022 as the safe standard, 2025 for the latest generation. Always the Datacenter edition with Desktop Experience.
Reserved resources on KVM
Windows runs on KVM with Xeon Gold 6138, DDR4 ECC and NVMe. Your vCores and memory are reserved, so your RDP session stays smooth even when neighbors are busy.
Your own public IPv4
A dedicated public IPv4 address for RDP, for services the outside world must reach and for a clean IP reputation when your software sends email.
DDoS filtering in front of RDP
Port 3389 is a favorite target of automated scans. UnioShield keeps floods and volumetric attacks away from your server before they choke the line.
Three versions of Windows Server
All in the Datacenter edition with Desktop Experience. Choose at checkout and switch later with a reinstall.
Windows Server 2019Proven
For software whose vendor explicitly requires 2019, or older business apps that struggle on newer versions.
Windows Server 2022Recommended
The standard for new servers, certified by most current applications. The right pick unless your vendor says otherwise.
Windows Server 2025Latest
The newest generation, ideal if you plan to run the server for years and your software already supports it.
Built for Windows-only software
A Windows VPS is the answer whenever your software only exists for Windows: trading platforms like MetaTrader, business and accounting software, older .NET applications, or automations that drive a desktop around the clock. Your server keeps running whether your own computer is on or not.
For a website, an API or a network service, Linux is leaner, needs less memory and costs no license. If your project runs on both, take the Linux VPS at the same price. If it needs Windows, give it real Windows, not a compatibility layer.
Lock down RDP in five minutes
An open port 3389 receives login attempts within hours of going online. That is how automated scans work across the whole internet, and a few quick steps make your server uninteresting to them. Start with a long, unique password for every account with RDP access.
Then move Remote Desktop to another port, since most scripts only try the default one. Turn on account lockout after several failed attempts, keep Network Level Authentication enabled and, if you always connect from the same networks, restrict the inbound firewall rule to those addresses. Keep Windows Update on, and schedule restarts for a quiet time so your apps are never interrupted.
What is included
Your server arrives with Windows Server Datacenter preinstalled and up to date, Desktop Experience enabled, RDP open and a public IPv4 address. The license is Microsoft’s official 180-day evaluation; after that, activate it permanently with your own Windows Server key. DISM converts the evaluation into a full version without a reinstall.
Everything else is yours to decide: applications, Windows roles, backups and antivirus. Client access licenses (CALs) and RDS licenses are not included. Without them, Windows Server allows two simultaneous Remote Desktop sessions for administration.
Choose the right amount of memory
Windows needs more baseline memory than Linux. Starter at €5.00 with 4 vCores and 8 GB is enough for a business app, a trading platform or one admin at a time. Running SQL Server Express next to an application and a web service? Take Performance with 16 GB for €10.00.
Pro (32 GB for €20.00) and Ultimate (64 GB for €30.00) handle memory-hungry software, larger databases or several instances side by side. Upgrades need no reinstall and keep your IP address.
Windows VPS FAQ
Is the Windows license included in the price?
The official evaluation of Windows Server Datacenter is included, valid for 180 days at no extra cost. For permanent use, activate the server with your own license key from Microsoft or a reseller. Client access licenses (CALs) and RDS licenses are not included and depend on your usage.
What happens after the 180 days?
Without activation, Windows warns you and then shuts itself down at regular intervals. Convert the evaluation to a full version in time with DISM and your product key. No reinstall is needed: your programs and data stay in place.
How many people can work over RDP at the same time?
Without extra licenses, Windows Server allows two simultaneous Remote Desktop sessions for administration. If several employees should work on the server regularly, you need Remote Desktop Services (RDS) licenses and matching CALs, purchased directly from Microsoft or a reseller.
Can I run MetaTrader or other programs 24/7?
Yes, that is one of the most popular uses. The server runs non-stop, whether your own computer is on or not. Make sure Windows Update does not trigger unplanned restarts, and set your programs to start automatically after a reboot.
Can I play games or use 3D software on it?
No. The hosts have no dedicated graphics card and graphics are rendered in software only. That is fine for office apps, browsers and business software, but not for games, rendering, CAD or anything that needs GPU acceleration.
How fast is the server ready?
Provisioning is automatic and takes a few minutes after payment. You then receive your IP address and credentials and can connect over RDP right away. No setup fee, no minimum term, and renewals cost the same as your first month.
